BordeauxGroup Growing Pains and our Server Meltdown

Over the past couple weeks our server has been under a high load with the release of Bordeaux 2.0.0 for Solaris and Linux. Allot of our customers have had problems with their file downloads timing out in the past couple weeks and I thought the problem would resolve it's self and the load would go down after a day or two... Well it hasn't happened, in a sense this is good news as allot of people are interested in the new Bordeaux 2.0.0 release. But it's bad news when your customers cant get the software they purchased.

To resolve this problem we our going to be upgrading to a "Dedicated Server" that has allot more memory and Bandwidth then what our old server has. The new server will help people with slower Internet connections as we can configure Apache not to time out on slower connections. After the new Server is up and configured the site should be faster and downloads more reliable.

You can rest assure we know about the problems and were doing everything we can to resolve then as quickly as possible. So we would like to ask everyone to please be patient for a couple days until we have the new server in place.

And we would like at this time tell everyone Sorry about the problems, and thanks for your support.

Here is the confirmation mail from siteground about the server upgrade.
