STEVEN EDWARDS RELEASES BORDEAUX 1.6 FOR LINUX

Steven Edwards of The Bordeaux Technology Group announces the release of Bordeaux for Linux 1.6 with added support for Google's Chrome Web Browser, Google Earth, Google Picasa, Trillian and Apple's Safari Web Browser. Additionally, Cellar support has improved; you can now delete and install into an existing Cellar. IE6 now installs java, shockwave and latest flash. There has also been many small bug fixes and tweaks on the backend to improve the speed and reliablity.

Greenville, SC (December 21, 2008) Bordeaux Group, Inc. a leading Free Software developer, today unveiled Bordeaux for Linux 1.6, the next version of the company's software enabling Linux users to run Windows applications such as Microsoft Office, Adobe Photoshop and others. Priced at $20, the software is a low cost add-on to the Free Software package known as Wine. Wine enables Linux users to run many Windows applications on non-windows systems, but until now, a low cost easy to configure version was not available. This new version adds support for Office 2003 based applications as well as offers many improvements over the previous 1.4 release.

Version 1.6 for Linux, and 1.6 beta 1 for BSD are in the store.

I'm sorry but the software cost $20 and the $20 helps to cover hosting, development and support. In the future we plan to have a free version and a paid version, the free version wont have support and some features wont be included.
